Membership of the AAEU is limited and consists of the following categories: Only active members, emeritus members and honorary members may vote at the annual General Assembly (including nominations of new members), provided that they have paid their annual dues and registration fees. This membership category is limited to 100 academic urologists and consists of certified European urologists, under the age of 65, recognized for their academic urological expertise and achievements.
This membership category is limited to academic urologists and consists of distinguished non-European urologists with a recognized academic profile.
This category consists of former active members or international members over the age of 65 transferred to emeritus membership.
This category consists of retired active, international or emeritus members transferred to inactive membership at their own request.
These members are active members, international members, emeritus members or inactive members elected to that status based on outstanding contributions to academic urology.
